Balance/Core
Balance:
The ability to maintain a position without moving for a given period of
time.

Team Fitness workouts will challenge your stability with special training equipment like balance boards and balance discs. These training
methods work by forcing you to recruit more muscle fibers in order to
stabilize. As a result you will become stronger and less prone to injuries.

Core:
The muscles that make up the deep abdominals, low back, and hips.
Nearly every exercise you will do at Team Fitness utilizes the core muscles in some
way. Your core is your power source as well as a stabilizer for the rest of your body. Functionally training your core will enable you to perform more advanced exercises while preventing injuries to the low back.
