Balance/Core
Balance:
The ability to maintain a position without moving for a given period of time.
Team Fitness utilizes mostly free weights along with balance training equipment in order to defy an athlete's stable zone. These tools work by forcing you to recruit more muscle fibers in order to stabilize. As a result, athletes are able to exert force from an unstable position, and are less prone to injuries during competition.

Core:
The muscles that make up the deep abdominals, low back, and hips.
The core is an athlete's power house. It is where all power is initiated for just about every movement an athlete utilizes including swinging a bat or a golf club, sprinting, jumping, and throwing or kicking a ball. Strengthening the core also stabilizes the entire body therefore protecting it from injury.
