Program Descriptions (Sport Specific)
All programs include ongoing fitness assessments as well as nutrition
consultations.
Team Fitness' staff has worked with over 40 different sports, and over 2,000
different individual athletes at all levels. No matter what your sport or
level, we have a place for you at Team Fitness.
1. Phase I (Ages 7 9): At this stage of development children work mostly
on balance, coordination, flexibility, and exercise technique. These things
will prepare their neuromuscular system for the higher intensity training
they'll do in phases II and III.
2. Phase II (Ages 10 13): Phase II begins to teach more advanced training
techniques focusing on more strength and power. Low impact plyometrics are
also introduced during this phase.
3. Phase III (High School Athlete): Programs are now more challenging based
on each individual's stage of growth and development. Phase III is high
intensity training scientifically developed to improve performance and
prevent injuries during competition.
4. The Adult Power Athlete: This program is for athletes college age and
above. We'll cater each individual¹s workout to their particular
sport and
level.
5. Endurance Athletes: This group includes mostly runners, cyclists, and
triathletes, however endurance athletes of any kind will benefit from this
training program. Due to repetitive stress on muscles and joints, endurance
athletes are more prone to chronic injuries. Chronic injury prevention as
well as performance enhancement is key to this program.
6. Golf: (Power = Speed x Strength) Improve power in your swing by using
training methods specifically designed for golf. Methods include core and
power training, balance, and flexibility.
7. Team: (ages 8 adult) This program is for groups of no less than 10
individuals who train together as a team. Junior high, high school, club,
and professional teams are all welcome.
